Aluminum Strip Coil DC CC Quality Precision Rolling 1050 1060 3003 Uniform Surface 0.2mm to 3.0mm Thickness

This aluminum strip coil is produced in both DC quality (Direct Chill casting / hot rolling route) and CC quality (Continuous Casting route), so buyers can match the material route to the forming operation instead of overpaying for grade they do not need. Alloys 1050, 1060 and 3003 are held in regular production, with 5052, 6061 and 8011 available on request.

DC quality strip starts from Direct Chill cast slab, homogenised and hot rolled before cold rolling. The result is a homogeneous grain structure, low inclusion content and high elongation, which is the correct choice for deep drawing, spinning, stamping and anodising where surface and forming limits matter. Typical elongation reaches 25-35% in O temper.

CC quality strip is cast directly from molten metal through a continuous caster and cold rolled to final gauge. It offers a stable, cost-efficient supply for general stamping, bending, duct work, gutter and packaging strip, with consistent mechanical values lot after lot.

Four-high and six-high cold rolling mills with automatic gauge control and crown control hold thickness tolerance to ±0.01 mm on strip below 1.0 mm, and to ±1% of nominal above 1.0 mm. Thickness crown, flatness and edge condition are monitored online, and slitting is done on precision lines with burr height under 0.05 mm, giving you strip that feeds through high-speed presses without jamming.

Surface quality is controlled at every pass: degreased and filtered rolling oil, ceramic-coated work rolls, and inspection under 1000 lux lighting with an online surface defect detector. Standard finish is mill finish, uniform bright, free from roll marks, scratches, oil stains and slivers. Brushed, embossed, colour coated, anodised and laminated finishes are available as secondary processing.

Each lot is released with a mill test certificate covering chemical composition, mechanical properties, thickness and width deviation. Third-party inspection such as SGS or BV can be arranged before shipment on request. Our system is certified to ISO 9001:2015, and material is RoHS compliant.

Coils are eye-to-sky or eye-to-wall as required, wrapped in anti-corrosion paper and plastic film, strapped with steel band, and loaded on seaworthy wooden pallets or cradles. Standard delivery is 7-15 working days for stock gauges and 20-30 days for custom rolling. FOB, CIF, CFR and CNF terms are all supported.
