3003 H18 Alloy Chemical Properties
- Composition basis: Aluminum-manganese alloy (Mn about 1.0-1.5%)
- Strengthening mechanism: Pure cold work hardening (non-heat treatment strengthening)

Honeycomb Core Manufacturing Process
Precision automated process transforming aluminum foil into continuous hexagonal honeycomb cell structures through specialized forming and bonding techniques.
1. Aluminum Foil Preparation
Selection of 3003 grade aluminum foil coils with specific thickness requirements. Surface preparation includes degreasing and chemical treatment to enhance adhesive bonding.
2. Gluing
Application of high-strength adhesive in parallel stripes using precision roller coating or spraying methods to ensure uniform, continuous application.
3. Corrugation Forming
Flat aluminum foil passes through precision corrugation rollers to create continuous wave shapes with controlled peak distance and height.
4. Lamination and Stacking
Precise alignment and stacking of multiple corrugated aluminum foil layers with peak-to-glue-stripe positioning.
5. High Temperature Curing
Hot press application melts and solidifies adhesive, creating strong bonding points between adjacent aluminum foil layers.
6. Honeycomb Block Formation
Cured laminate forms integrated aluminum block with regular internal pore structure, known as honeycomb core blank.
7. Stretching and Unfolding
Controlled tension application perpendicular to corrugation direction evenly spreads cellular structures into three-dimensional hexagonal honeycomb configuration.
