Five bar aluminum checkered plate rolled from 5086 (AlMg4) and 5754 (AlMg3) marine grade alloys. 5086 is specified where the plate sits in permanent sea water or the splash zone, because its higher magnesium content resists pitting far better than 5052; 5754 is the economical choice for superstructure decks, hatches and transport flooring, with better strength retention than 5052 in H32. Both are weldable without pre-heat or post-weld treatment, formable, fully recyclable and need no painting. The bars are rolled into the plate, so grip does not wear away as a coating would.

Chosen wherever salt water, constant moisture and heavy foot or wheel traffic would destroy carbon steel quickly. Because the pattern runs diagonally to the rolling direction, traction holds both forward and sideways on inclined surfaces, where a slip carries the highest consequence.
- Boat decks and marine platforms: pontoon and barge decks, workboat deck plating, yacht cockpit soles, swim platforms, gangways, davit bases, fish hold floors, dredge and floating dock surfaces. 5754 covers superstructure decks, hatch covers and locker tops.
- Ramps and access structures: loading and container ramps, forklift ramps, trailer tailgates and beavertails, wheelchair and pedestrian ramps, mezzanine walkways, factory crossover bridges, ship-to-shore gangways. Light enough for two workers to reposition, stiff enough to span normal ramp supports.
- Transport flooring: truck beds, flatbed and lowboy trailer floors, van and reefer linings, tipper bodies, bus luggage bays, emergency vehicle step areas. High strength-to-weight ratio keeps payload capacity that a steel floor would consume.
- Stair treads and industrial flooring: treads and nosings, catwalks, service platforms, warehouse and mezzanine floors, machine guarding, refinery and mining walkways, wastewater plant covers; the practical option where a spark-free or non-magnetic surface is required.
- Food, pharma and cold storage: walk-in freezer and cold room floors, clean room wall and ceiling panels, dairy, brewery, abattoir and fish processing areas. No low-temperature embrittlement, good thermal conductivity, and 5754 withstands mild acidic and alkaline wash-down chemicals.
- Automotive, construction and architecture: toolboxes, running boards, mudguards, camper and caravan cladding, race car floor pans and firewalls; escalator and stair cladding, entrance thresholds, plant room floors, roof access walkways, lift car flooring. Anodized and PVDF finishes let the plate match a facade colour scheme while keeping the anti-slip function.

Each order is built to the drawing, not to a shelf size: alloy and temper selection (5086, 5754, plus 5052, 5083, 6061, 3003), sheets cut to exact panel size with square or guillotine edge, pattern and bar pitch confirmed against your drawing, mill / anodized / colour coated / anti-fingerprint surface with optional PE film on one or both faces, and secondary processing by CNC plasma, laser, punching, bending, drilling and part marking. Customer-branded pallet marks and mixed-thickness loading are available. Send a drawing, sample photo or specification sheet and our engineers confirm alloy, temper, pattern and tolerance before production; small cut samples can be approved first.

Technical support covers alloy selection, load and deflection calculation, weld procedure guidance and salt-water service recommendations. Every shipment is supplied with mill test certificate, chemical and mechanical property report, dimensional inspection report and certificate of origin; each batch is checked for composition, temper, thickness tolerance, flatness and pattern height. SGS, BV, Intertek or TUV inspection can be arranged before shipment, and production, packing and container loading photos are sent at each stage. Quotation within 12 working hours, technical questions answered by an engineer, and defect claims reviewed against photos and inspection report within the agreed warranty period.

Sheets are stacked with protective film or paper interleaving, PET strapped, edge-protected and loaded onto fumigated seaworthy wooden pallets, wrapped in HDPE film with desiccant inside against condensation in transit. Standard pallets suit 20ft and 40ft containers; LCL shipments go in fully enclosed plywood crates. FOB, CIF or CFR from Qingdao, Tianjin or Shanghai, with booking, inspection coordination and full documents (B/L, invoice, packing list, certificate of origin). Lead time 7-15 working days for stock sizes and 20-25 working days for customized rolling.
